Deborah Burch supports The Foundry Recovery Program based in Bessemer, Alabama. 21 million Americans suffer from some type of substance abuse. This is a national epidemic and affects so many families in America and it hits home. Chances are, you may know someone who is either on or has been on drugs or a family that has been affected by drug addiction. This cause is very near to Deborah’s heart because she has seen the effects of a loved one being addicted. As she sat by and watched her loved one search for help, endlessly trying to get help but the cost of treatment is astronomical. It was a program similar to this one that allowed her family member to get the help they needed at a fraction of the cost of high dollar treatment centers.
Tiffany Allen is our efficient and effective office manager who has been with the firm for 11 years. She is on the board of the Huntsville Young Professionals and spreads her own brand of positivity through her platform “Thoughts Become Outfits.” Tiffany also organizes events for the Lupus Foundation of America, Mid-South Chapter, and for Black Lives Matter. She proudly supports the Born This Way Foundation. “This foundation is close to me because I was made fun of when I was younger because of the way I looked and my voice. I wish something like this was around then. I think mental health in our youth is something that we need to bring more awareness to. So many kids these days are committing suicide due to bullying in the schools and on social media. This foundation provides a safe place.” says Tiffany.
